Computing has a unique scenario in which it will be far from being an evident commodity - quantum computing technology will absolutely transform the process of handling with data, solving problems, and of course computing. This innovative field can be considered a hybrid of physics, math, and computer science, and introduces a very different computing principle which is not only faster and more effective but also more advanced than digital computing.

What are the basics of Quantum Computing?

Digital computers are built on the concept of bits which can either be present in the state of a 0 or a 1. In contrast, quantum computers imply the use of so-called quantum bits or qubits, that can be both 0 and 1, standing for multiple states at once. This phenomenon referred to as superposition enables the qubits to consider many outcomes simultaneously which is the reason quantum computers are so fast and efficient.

Basic Principles of Quantum Computing

1. Superposition: A qubit can be in a state of 0, 1, or both at a time.
2. Entanglement: A qubit can be interconnected with another in a way that even if far off, measurements performed on either will be correlated.
3. Quantum measurement: Measurement of a qubit…
